We're getting the pro treatment. It's like a spa day, but for your race car.
When someone on the Capaldi Racing crew sticks their head under the dash, they look professional doing it.
Some of their techs are more attractive than others.
Our for Fiesta B-Spec project makes its professional debut this week in the Pirelli World Challenge series at Mid-Ohio. The car is currently at Capaldi Racing—whom we previously ran with when we undertook the Spec-based Mustang Challenge a few years ago—getting a few final details to make it pro-quality.
Our own art director, J.G. Pasterjak, will be piloting the craft, and also running his most high-profile professional series to date. So if you want to ask a question of an honest-to-god pro race driver, email J.G. or post something on our message board. Then he can go ask Mike Skeen.
And if you’re at Mid-Ohio for the action, stop by and see him at Capaldi Racing’s trailer (and bust his hump for not being at work, hit him up for an autograph at one of the autograph sessions. The current value of his autograph is $0, but that figure could multiply hundreds or even thousands of times with a strong showing this weekend.) Or, simply cheer as he goes by—most likely it will be slow enough he can probably also stop to answer a question, sign an autograph, and provide directions to local fried chicken places.
