I didn't realize this car was a DSG. Great deal!

Note: The GTI has been sold to a new owner.
“Can one car really do it all?” That’s the question we wanted to answer when we grabbed this GTI out of the Carvana vending machine two years ago.
Today, it’s time for our experiment to draw to a close–and to call it a resounding success. Over 23,000 miles and dozens of track days all over the country, our GTI never skipped a beat, and it also developed into a track car that will run at the pointy end of any run group with license plates.
[Yes, our Mk7 GTI survived One Lap of America]
Now, with a total of 42,493 miles, a fresh set of Bridgestone RE-71RS tires fitted, and all the stock parts we’ve removed included on a pallet, it’s time for our Volkswagen to find a new home. The car has zero issues and is ready for its next track day tomorrow.
We’re asking $19,000, and the car will be off the road and securely stored in Ormond Beach, Florida, until pickup.
We’ll happily pick you up from DAB, MCO or JAX if you’d like to fly down and drive the car home, or we can coordinate pickup with your preferred shipping company. We’re happy to hold the car for up to 60 days with a signed purchase agreement and a non-refundable deposit. Sorry, but financing is not available (we’re not a car dealership).
The car has a clean Carfax and a clean Florida title, and the VIN is 3VW447AU0HM061550.

I followed the build and the adventures. This is a nice car at a good price that needs nothing. GLWS.
Oh no!! No more GTI build content for us to follow!! I found your articles and experiences super helpful as I build up my own GTI for the very same goals, and I'm super grateful for y'all's experience and wisdom being shared.
Looks like you had a blast with this car, so at least it's not parting on bad terms. Good luck with the sale, I know the new owner will be quite happy with this build!
I'll be sad to see this one go--it's a perfect example of the hard part of building project cars. As soon as one is fast, sorted and reliable, it's time to say goodbye and move on to the next one. If I had infinite space and infinite budget, I'd keep it forever.
I have spent a ton of time in this car and it really is a perfect daily and track/autocross car. I will miss this one but excited to see it go to someone else who will enjoy it.
If only this had come about sooner. Nearly purchased a 2017 while following your lead and ended up with a '24 model GTi
wanna trade?

You know what's better than one GTI?
Two GTIs!
If I recall correctly, this car lapped The FIRM within several tenths of a second of the Honda CTR.
If I recall correctly #2, GRM is selling it for less than they paid Carvana for it stock.
There's a lot of bang for the buck with this car.
