St. Pete is a cool city. Really good food/coffee/beer scene. I've shot a couple of weddings at that particular hotel, it's weird.
Yeah, we realize that this isn’t totally scientific. But it is real world, and that’s where we live.
The EPA rates our Civic Si at 32 combined mpg. On the highway, the EPA says, that figure climbs to 38.
We recently drove across the state for a conference: about 200 miles of highway driving plus another hundred in and around St. Pete, Florida. We didn’t use the cruise control, and our car is still wearing its Falken Azenis RT615K+ tires. We did check tire pressures before heading out.
After 314.2 miles, we stopped for gas. Some quick math reveals that we again got 31.5 mpg on a tank.

Yeah, St. Pete is cool. In my spare time, I'm chairman of the board for the British Motor Trade Association. Each February, we host a conference--a chance for members to network and learn stuff. This year, we held the conference in St. Pete for the reasons you mentioned--plus good weather.
