Stock corvair is around 2500.
We put quite a few miles on the car this summer. Picked up a Griffin aluminum rad, C6 corvette rad, put in a set of suede Recaro’s , got a short shift kit from Webo ($500 Eww!)
drove it 4 hrs to a corvair convention and back without issue. we are finding it needs some bigger meats int he rear, it makes clouds of smoke in 1st and 2nd without dumping the clutch or harsh driving.
Next up is a Roll bar and some other little mods.
