1988 Ford Courier (NZ-spec Mazda B2000, LWB, 8" diff, 1 tonne rating)

Bought brand new by dad in December 88, and put into service early in 89, this truck was omnipresent throughout my childhood in it’s original 80hp SOHC 2.0 form. Eventually my hatred of rocker arms led to a 16v swap, which lead to a turbo setup, which lead to a “BIG like a house” Holset HE351CW turbo setup, which lead to a serious fuel system, serious exhaust, serious manifolds, serious intercooler and plumbing, FreeEMS standalone ECU, etc etc. It’s fast. Very fast.
