Dirty.
1992, #960/1000 Purchased in 2001 for $4500 Daily Driver / Drag Race / TSD Rally / RallyX / Road Course For the full story on how I came to acquire this car and fell in love with motorsports, here’s my original Reader’s Ride post: Click Here The gist of the story is that I purchased this car nearly 10 years ago and have been daily driving it and putting it though just about every kind of punishment possible since then. When it clocked over 200k miles in winter ‘08, I decided it was time to to freshen the original motor which was still pulling hard but burning a fair amount of oil (largely due to the turbo though). Over the winter the overhaul included; rebuilt stock motor and head, new turbo, new injectors, used replacement front and rear subframes, reman steering rack, all new poly suspension/subframe/differential bushings, lower mileage transfer case and rear differential, OEM Evo 8 suspension, JDM RS replica carbon fibre hood, new 2.5” stainless turbo-back exhaust, 3” GM MAF w/translator, new intercooler piping, etc. She should be good for another 200k now!
