I got rear ended a few weeks ago by some dumb lady who wasn’t paying attention to traffic. She did a number on my rear bumper and my taillight. As I was driving home from getting an estimate at the body shop ANOTHER person hit my car, this time in the front. This accident took out my fender, headlight and hood. I purchased a carbon hood since I had to replace it anyways, the OEM hood on SCs is quite heavy so the carbon unit reduces the weight by about 75 lbs.
Rather than just paint the new body panels or the whole car again, I will be wrapping the entire car in vinyl. I own a business doing signs, stickers and garments so I get vinyl wholesale and can do the work myself. Beats paying several grand for another paint job! Thinking about doing flat black or anthracite metallic, still undecided.
