2007 Saturn Ion 3 ( aka highest trim level) Purchased new by my Father when I was 10. An all original car with over 260K and I have lovingly come very close to restoring it to like-new condition replacing all the suspension parts and going over the engine. Refreshing the interior and documenting its progress. Nothing of a show car but surely the cleanest Ion with high mileage and family history to it. Since my Fathers passing I have kept this car as a mememto and memorial to him to always keep it in my care as the “one owner” car it is. Leaving it original, stock factory mechanical and cosmetic condition leaves me the urge to spread my wings. With a grown love to these Ion and Ecotec cars I will find a 5-speed version and build it up to an autocross track thrasher, at least throw some boost to it.
