Easter Sunday is a nice day to resurrect a car from a winter’s sleep. +10º C as ambient temperature, the old Pontiac heater warming the cockpit. 3500 rpm brings a nice 70 mph in 5th - even 75 mph is comfortable. Pretty good for a car that originally had a top speed of 77 mph. There’s way more with that blown engine - at least 90 mph, maybe more, we’ll see. Ice is still on the lakes but the pavement is dry. Steering is twitchy with incipient oversteer - good thing Ralph Nader isn’t around. We’ll try 28/32 psi fr/rr and see if we can calm it down.
Happy Spring.
