Here you can see the engine has been dropped in for mockup and detail work around the engine bay. You can also see the rebuilt manual rack (with Quaife quicksteer) as well as the manual AE86 column I swapped over. Note also that the crossmember has been cleaned and powdercoated, as have the manual steering rack brackets. New polyurethane rack bushings for maximum steering feel and feedback! The inner tie rods and boots are also new Toyota parts. On a side note, I flushed the heater core while the engine was out, since it seemed easy to get to and might save me a cold ride at some point in the future.
