The final bit of progress is on the intake side of things. With help from oldeskewltoy, I now have a set of gaskets to go between the ITB’s and and the intake manifold. I suppose I could have ordered something from Japan, but I didn’t want to wait for the slow boat on this one…especially since it is sealing between two flat and nicely machined aluminum surfaces, and upstream of the fuel injectors (but downstream of the throttles.) It isn’t often that I forsake OE parts for auto-parts-store generic stuff, but in this case I did. :p
I also now have an AE92 GT-S thermostat housing which will clear the alternator, and the proper thermostat, o-ring, and a rebuilt alternator are on the way!
