1970 Canoe. Yes, an actual canoe.

16 foot fiberglass (or fiberglas), bought with one of my first paychecks as a standardbred horseman in about 1974. This picture from 2018 is from the trial run after rigging it with a trolling motor. Interesting history on the company. My dad was teaching art at UCF, and one of the students turned in a set of fiberglass dirt bike fenders as his sculpture project. None of the other faculty liked that guy, but my dad gave him an A. The canoe was his first venture into starting a boat building company. Next were trailerable catamarans. He finally ended up building high level ocean trimarans.
