1986 Pontiac Fiero GT/V8

Yup — it is a Fiero…………but hopefully not like anything you’ve seen locally. You know what I mean — the one with one headlight popped up, body panels of more than 1 color, and possibly with the clearcoat burned off of the roof and wing…..yup, not what we have here….. I started out just trying to update the interior — anyone that has spend any time in one knows that they scream “I love the 80’s” — and it doesn’t really go with the rest of the car. As I was starting to work on something to replace it, I found out that Chevy V8’s fit quite nicely out back. Well, one thing led to another and the car got a complete top down, end to end makeover. The interior was replaced, suspension was upgraded, engine was replaced with a Chevy V8 running a TPIS intake, cam, and chip, and the body was painted. A few other items were done — you can see it here: http://orphancars.com/fiero.html

Sweet ride. Fieros have always been an interesting bunch. They just never got the recognition they deserved. I've read through the site; looking forward to hearing anything else you are planning to do with it.

I really like some of the hot-rodded Fieros I've seen, especially this one! It was built the same time as the MkI MR2 but the later Fieros look as good or better than the MkII MR2, IMO. How's the suspension aftermarket on these guys?
