A big, RWD rally car - awesome!
performance rally car
Ford Mustang probably wouldn't catch my attention. A Ford Mustang rally car blasting down a snowy road sure does.
Wow...big RWD rally car=awesome for sure! Any details of the prep? How is it to drive?
Standard rally prep, i.e. cage tied into suspension. Coil over shocks front and rear. Wilwood brakes. Engine work unknown as I got the engine with another car. Close ration 5 speed transmission. 4.10 limited slip diff. Bent front struts in this event so we shall see if handling is improved.
Dude that's awesome. Do you have a page with more pictures or videos? I never even thought of a Mustang as a rally car.
YES!!! I now have a goal in life, and it's to become this cool. Screw my AllTrac dream, this is what i want to rally. How does it do, by the way?
Hahahaha awesome!!! I saw the car on the leftside banner and I thought 'sweet rally car', then I read "mustang"... I was like !? Maybe it's the reader's name and it's another one of his/her cars? Looked closer, and thought sweet! That's unique, love it
SN95's do it all! looks like a blast, one day I will have a powerful RWD stage rally car. do you run in G5?
Nice work, Richard. I'm sure you're aware the Mustang's first international victories were actually *in* rallying...but I'm gonna post these links anyway for folks that don't. <g> http://www.ponysite.de/fmcog/racing/tdf_e_scg.htm http://freenet-homepage.de/pony/tdf.htm
fgc, I can't get the link to work. But the movie "A Man and a Woman" is one of my favorites because of the Mustangs rallying.
Yeah, I can't get them to hyperlink. http://www.ponysite.de/fmcog/racing/tdf_e_scg.htm http://freenet-homepage.de/pony/tdf.htm Copy & paste, I guess. Missouri..that's 100 Acre Wood, isn't it? How'd ya do?
I can truthfully say I won the regional G5 rallies and the regional rally national championship in G5. It certainly helped that no one else entered. :)
I am guessing its a V8? Awesome push/light bar, any other modifications?
