Now I’m rebuilding the door hinge area. as told by the PO, the door was open, and hit from the rear, and ripped the jamb up. He got it to work. I did a half *ssed repair with a junk door years ago. Now I’ve got a cherry door, and am reinforcing the hinge area with 1/4” steel. I also cut the interior panel behind the hinges for access and rust repair. once this mess is all buttoned up, going to do JC whitney fake dynamat, and hopefully have nice heat/AC. Oh yeah, I’ve been having exelent luck at local pull-its. Thank you Geo for selling so many Metros. Otherwise, I’d be totally boned.
