I was planning on selling the Miata this spring when prices are at their peak. I was going to get it detailed, replace the blown speakers, change the crankcase and transmission oil, maybe fix the antennae, and list it at a typical astronomical rust-free-ohio-miata price. I was hoping I could get at least $700 more for it than I paid after putting $200 into prepping it for sale.
I went ahead and listed it a few days ago for the same price I paid for it 11k miles ago even though I’ve added a FM stage 1 suspension. I have done essentially zero maintenance in those 11k miles (one Mobil1 oil change, new diff oil, one headlight).
The first person that came to look at it is coming back later this week with cash :(
