I get ~50 most of the time with mine. Mostly hills ,ac, and driving style in my case. Is yours CVT or manual?

IIRC, all the 2000 model year cars are manuals.
manual transmission, and now averaging about 54mpg with all four tires the same size and brand. ive had bikes with bigger tires! best trip so far has been 59mpg, but im not good at 55mph :)
