The car is in many pieces but in a few ways that’s a good thing. Took the time to tear down the trans and the 1-2 hub slider was ground to a pulp which was causing my shifting problems. A new one of those and a 4.24 final should waken things up quite a bit. The new block has been built and mated up with the same Race Shop P&P head I’ve been using for a few seasons now. The Schrick manifold is off and a new, custom, intake is on with a 75mm tb. Going to an electric waterpump with a half sized Honda alum rad and non-ABS brakes as well to save some lbs. Should be running next week if all goes well.
