Got all my parts together for the 3.0 swap except a pressure plate. I did finish the turbo swap at some point, got it up to 14 psi and tore around in it for a while. Good fun, but not ambitious/different enough, so more swappage it is.
Rare factory 5spd manual van. Got it up to 33mpg once. Ran 18.2@73. I converted it to turbo. It is falling apart slowly from Wisconsin rust, but it sort of seems to add to the sleeper/beater/wtf mystique of the whole thing. Has run 14.3 in the 1/4 mile and going back for more.

I took it to the track and blew up the old clutch on the first pass! Was hoping for low 14s, ran 15.8 w/ blown clutch. Tempted to put a clutch in it and keep going with the 4cyl a while longer..
