1966 Other SCCA DSR

Homebuilt special built in 1966 for SCCA H-Mod. Car was supposed to run a 3 cylinder SAAB Monte Carlo engine. Suspension and chassis are based of of Bobsy and Lola design. This car was never finished, the builder’s son, who the car was being built for, died at 22 of a heart condition. After languishing in the builder’s back yard for, roughly, 30 years, my father and I picked it up at a swap meet. Today, the car is assembled as a static display. I made use of the car as my BFA thesis project in college using it as a canvas for vinyl graphics I designed.
