Nov 24, 2014 update on type85's 1984 Audi Coupe GT of death!

Dual prop. valves for tha rear brakes... BOOM!!!

The stock valve by the pass side rear axle is really a “shutoff valve”. As the axle dops, it limits the amount of pressure, this makes the rear brake pressure non linear. With the track suspension, the coupe has virtually 0 diver under braking, so the stock valve is pretty useless. I don’t have an accurate way of adjusting rear pressure.

So I added 2 Wilwood proportioning valves. The coupe has 2 lines going to the rear so I had to use 2 valves. Now I have linear pressure to the rear and is easily adjustable by poping the hood. I painted the knobs so you can see their position.
