Since the motor was set so far back the carb sets right under the cowl vents. When it rained,there was nothing to stop it from going into the motor. I bought a carb hat and bolted it on. I constructed a rectangle shape box and sheet metaled the back in. Added a large tube out of the back and routed the exhaust tubing to connect the air filter box and the carb hat. rian problem solved.
