Wow! You put an awesome power train in a beautiful car! How much is it putting to the ground?
After 5.5 years on this project, I finally drove it home last friday and it made it’s “public” debut at the Monterey Historic Races at Laguna Seca!
How about an E85 conversion?! Yes, the RBZ is “Going Green”! It’s time to order …
Didn’t quite make it to what I was looking for, but the injectors appear to …

Thanks. Right now, while the motor is still being broken in, it's limited to just over 280 rwhp. Once the break-in is complete, I'll be tuning it for just under 500 rwhp. :D

The perfect swap idea-YES, but your execution is simply top notch. Well Played.
looks awsome, but definate sleeper. Sure it would blow the doors off more than a few unsuspecting turds.
I saw this car at Eurosunday a couple of months ago. Incredibly clean. Great job on the build!
you'll need some good rubber to get power to ground...ultra light car...lots of hp = mo tire!
Very nice. How did you mount it? I'm working on a 240sx RB20DET swap very slowly. She's up to the rims in mud now and that makes it hard to work on her. :-(
N Sperlo, the motor and trans mounts were custom fabricated. All you need is a tape measure, some steel, a band saw, a welder and voila! ;)
This is awesome dude, props for all the work you've done. Your car is inspiring, and I like the fact that it's the first model Z. I'm interested in building/restoring a 1977 280z myself, which I chose because of the 5-speed trans. Anyway, beautiful car and when I look at the pics I get inspired to work on mine, great job.
Wow, you have FOUR coolers sharing the same airflow...Does it overheat on track?
Nice Z car. Good job updating it with the goal of "What If the Factory Had Done This". It's what I did to my 1800E when I shoved in a period correct Volvo 6 cylinder to replace the I4 it came with because I was getting embarrassed by the 6 cylinder Datsuns and cheap Porches.
