This morning my wife had a meeting so I decided to head on over to Pick ‘N Pull to see what I could find. There was only 1 240sx, an ‘89, but it had a couple things on it that I needed. I almost left the junkyard when I remembered that I hadn’t looked at the suspension! The car had some ricer rims on it and some stickers and what-not, so I thought that maybe the guy had put some springs on it or something. Well he did, and although they aren’t amazing, I snatched them up-if only to get rid of the 4x4 status on my car. The fronts are Tein springs/Gr2 struts, and the rears are just stock struts with Eibach Sportline springs. I threw them on this afternoon, and I am relatively pleased. The left side sits a little lower than the right side, and the wheels still stick out further on the right, but for the price ($120) they will work. There are also a few other variables that might be messing with how it looks-left front fender has been off and sticks out a little further than the right, thus covering the tire; and the dent right behind the rr tire that makes it look like it’s sticking out more. Anyway, I will get all of this fixed in time, but for now I will live with this.
