1986 Ford Mustang LX

Couldn’t get the S10 together in time for $2011 so… yeah I bought a ready to run Rustang. 351 stoker 408, T5, Locker 8.8, drag car sort of, the guy who set it up alleged it has a Bennett Racing Crate engine, I am not so sure. Trans and rear do feel pretty hard core though. I will pull the pan after $2011 to check the bottom end out. Came in black primer, we have done a really quick bondo and crappy welding job on the body with a view to painting it prior to the Chalenge. Good news is it came with $2500 in brand new performance parts, can you say “Recoup”

Not sure if the Rustang will return to the challenge, after a stellar 6th in $2013, but it will stay in my collection. A few updates are pending
