I got my “Budget SSK” from Bimmerworld installed a few days ago.
Sure enough, the selector rod rubs the harmonic balancer. I found a great write-up from UUC that shows how to use a table vice and 3 sockets as a make-shift pipe bender. Should be fun. Check out the difference between the stock and the SS.
