Just a word about the engine. It’s a 2007 GSX 1300 R Suzuki Hayabusa. Mine has the old 16 bit ECU, if you go this route get one new enough to have the 32 bit ECU. I am using the Power Commander Dyno Jet 3 fuel controller. For the 32 bit ECU you would use the Dyno Jet 5 which is a lot more programable. I added after market rods, a cylinder spacer to lower compression ratio, ARP cylinder/head studs, and heavier valve springs.
I got my Turbo Kit from Terry at MR Turbo. Can’t say enough for him. He is a world of knowledge about Hayabusa engines and has never refused to take a call from me when I needed help. My turbo kit has a manually adjustable waste gate. Every turn in on the set screw is one lb of boost. I started out at 6 lbs of boost, then now at 8. This allows me to run pump gas with the stock injectors. This dynoed at 220 HP at the wheels. This has worked out very well for me. The power comes on very smooth, no turbo lag at all. And in most cases I can punch the throttle coming out of a corner and not worry about over powering the back wheels and spinning out. I use good year medium compond slicks for most track days but do have an extra set of Avon super soft slicks mounted on a spare set of wheels for AutoX and cold tracks. I had the goodyears groved to look like street tires. The guys in England have gone up to as much as 20 lbs of boost, 450 hp, but found this to be to much, making the power come on to quick and just spinning out coming out of the corners.
