In the mid 60s he was a morning dj in New Orleans. He soon was fired for his sense of humor. He then went to St Louis and was also a morning dj. His humor was liked and ratings were up. In 1968 he partnered with a guy in Cincinnati who soon became his life long best friend and formed the Shad and Mike Show on WCPO. It was the first of its kind. If your over 50 you may remember him. His radio name was Shad’o Shea. Over the years he owned a recording studio in Cincinnati and produced a few names like Midnight Star, Exile, Lee Greenwood, Bootsy Collins and the list goes on.
