Well the summer has come and that means that I have had the time to work on this bad boy. First order of business was to drain the gas tank and remove all fungal growth. The fuel came out black, like used motor oil - good thing it didn’t go through the engine! I also made a custom back speaker deck for my 6x9s, 1200W sub/amp in the trunk, new 4in speakers up front. I also converted the dash lights to LED. Maintenance wise, I have replaced all the rubber fuel hoses on the car, primer hand pump, re-sealed the back window, fixed 3 out of 4 seized window motors, fixed broken ignition lock, probably more I can’t think of. Basically all of the front-end maintenance has been done now and I should be in for a few light maintenance years (knock on wood!). I have accumulated 4000 miles since I bought the car (only been on the road for 2 months) and they have been fantastic!!
