This past weekend JG took our project Corvette Z06 to Fort Myers, Florida, for the 2018 SCCA Match Tour kickoff. Here’s our Petrel Data Solostorm overlay from one of our runs this past weekend. We really appreciate having access to all this data instantly after our runs, and the ability to overlay multiple runs to compare in real time. It’s a fantastic tool that helps provide a lot of valuable information to analyze and improve your performance.

Remember that home-brew Locost we featured in a video a few months ago? We thought you’d enjoy an onboard video of it enjoying some rallycross action. This car was built by Paul Wright and is based around a Honda S2000 drivetrain.

Amazingly, this G.I. Joe-inspired Challenge entry was built in just 48 hours in a parking lot. Going from a stock 1997 Pontiac Firebird to the caged, painted car you see staging in the left lane. Their top time was a 13.965 in the quarter mile, staged against Team Fraulein Rust with their 1974 BMW 2002.
What on earth is a Justang? If you watch our GRM Live! show, you already know. Subaru nuts at Circuit Motorsports swapped Mustang Cobra parts into this Subaru Justy and competed at our $2016 Challenge. Their best drag time was a 14.496, screaming through the lights with Ford V8 fury. The swap did wonders for handling, as they also placed first in the autocross segment, beating the competition by 0.8 seconds.
