What’s more challenging than getting one car in and out of the pits as efficiently as possible? Try two cars–and at once.
That’s what Ford Multimatic Motorsports managed to pull off during this year’s Rolex 24 At Daytona.
Interesting to see that the leading Mustang slowed in pit lane to let the other Mustang pass so that when they pitted, they both were able to slot into their pit boxes without having to maneuver around each other. I noticed that the Penske Porsches didn't do that, and there were numerous times where the team car in the first pit box had to be pushed back to clear the car in the second box when exiting.

Good eye. Yeah, it certainly seems like Ford Multimatic had the choreography well rehearsed.
