Video: How to Improve front-wheel-drive handling? More camber and caster.

https://www.youtube.com/embed/-aIWwzK05II

In stock form, our 2017 VW GTI ate through front tires on track–a common issue in many front-wheel-drive cars fitted with MacPherson struts.

The solution? Increase both camber and caster. For our GTI, that meant installing a set of camber caster plates from 034Motorsport.

While we were at it, we also installed upgraded springs, brake pads, brake rotors, wheels and tires.

I have a Gumby that I used to slot and weld the strut mount for camber and some camber plates turned to be caster plates. I recommend everyone gets a Gumby.

Yes I need to know too, even though my FWD track cars have the much superior double wishbone.
