Looking for faster lap times at Daytona International Speedway?

Ride along in our project Corvette C5 Z06 with our own JG Pasterjak for an in-depth, corner-by-corner guide to the track.

We've got more of these track tutorials in the works for Sebring, NCM and PBIR. We'll probably get to Roebling before too long as well. Any other tracks you think we should prioritize for our curated lap tips?

Since you made it all the way up to NCM, seems like Barber, AMP, and RA might be on the list to get a look. I'm looking forward to the NCM track guide, I'll be out there this weekend.

VIR is a tricky and interesting track, if you ever make it up that way. I'd be interested in a guide for that one.

BTW great job on this.

Just a bump since there's a race coming up this weekend at Daytona.

I had the pleasure of a Lap at Daytona as a FLY hanging onto the roll cage of a real live stock car during Testing

What a ride

Road Atlanta would be a good one.

And Little Talladega would be a cool one too.

In reply to JG Pasterjak :

After driving and instructing at NCM, all I have to say is "Yes, please". If you know Randy Slomian, call that brother for NCM and Sebring. I think some of his class records at Sebring are still standing.

That said, there are so many GREAT guides to famous tracks, like Sebring, Road Atlanta and VIR, I see a great benefit to publishing lesser known tracks like TGPR, AMP, NOLA, etc.

Roebling may be the most deceptively difficult track in the south. Nine turns? How tough can it be? hahahahaha  sucker!

Roebling is the worst–and I mean that in the most endearing way.

You’re right, with just nine turns, how difficult could it be?

Answer: Rather.

Yeah Roebling is fun because at first glance it seems like one of those tracks where you have lots of options, but, really, you don't. And a mistake in one spot feels like it takes half the track to fully recover your momentum.
