This isn’t your grandpa’s Studebaker Lark. It did a 10.7 on the drag strip during our annual Grassroots Motorsports $2000 Challenge Presented by Tire Rack.
Find out what Calvin Nelson (@Nivlac57), did to this LT-swapped car that he’s had since he was 16 years old.
[Editor's Note: Unfortunately, after the filming of this video Calvin’s Studebaker along with his truck and trailer were stolen from a hotel parking lot in South Carolina. If anyone has information that can help them find the vehicles, you can reach out to Calvin through his YouTube channel or on Facebook.]

In reply to Chris Tropea :
That car was stolen the next day. Probably should edit your post to reflect.

Sorry the car was stolen. Bad on you Grassroots Motorsports about Grandpa's Studebaker. Studebaker had some of the fastest cars back in the day starting with the 1957 Golden Hawk which was supercharged. Stock Larks would run mid 13's in the quarter with the 289 R engines. They also set many speed records at Bonneville where they annihilated the competition including a factory Avanti that did 175 MPH.
