Oil, tires, transmission, engine–all places most people check for signs of wear and tear on a race car (or even a street car), but when was the last time you inspected your wheels?

Like virtually every other part on your car, wheels go through a ton of abuse–even from just driving on the street.

How, then, do you make sure those alloys are still safe to drive on? We asked Scott Weiss of König Wheels, who showed us the proper way to inspect any wheel.

Being that it's getting near to mid-season for some, and the start of the season for others, this might be a good time to review this video and look over wheels.
