Curious what a 500-horsepower Honda S2000 looks like? Just take a look at Devin Stiglitz Giles’ 2000 AP1, powered by a K24A2 with a laundry list of modifications including a Garret GTX3582 turbo, Boostline rods and 1200c injectors.

Sure, all that power sounds impressive, but will it be enough to outpace the competition in the 2021 Tire Rack Ultimate Track Car Challenge?

What is the Tire Rack Ultimate Track Car Challenge? It’s our annual no-holds-barred track competition. The rules are simple: Car and driver must pass a NASA safety inspection. Period.

Here’s a closer look at this week’s selections:

Besides a well-built motor, Devin’s S2000 also features upgraded brakes from StopTech, beefy coil-overs from Fortune Auto, and plenty of hardware that helps keep the Honda planted to the track.

Like the S2000, Chris Johnson’s 1991 Nissan Skyline GT-R also has a well-modified engine, though this time to the tune of 860 horsepower. That's fitting, as Chris describes the GT-R’s greatest strength on track as “brute force balanced by AWD.”

Jeremy Lowder is bringing a 2019 Chevrolet Camaro ZL 1LE. While already potent from the factory, this Camaro has received some extra oomph from an HP Tuners tune and a fully stripped interior.

View these cars, along with the rest of the field, on the UTCC website. If you think you have what it takes to win, enter your car here.

The Tire Rack Ultimate Track Car Challenge is presented by Tire Rack in association with Wilwood EngineeringHP TunersSPA TechniqueKW Suspensions,  XClutch and FCP Euro, with trophies from BimmerWorld, Mantic ClutchFalken TireHoosier Tire and Mach V Motorsports.
