Here's an idea to save some weight, lower the CG, and improve the cargo capacity of the minivan:
Just cut off part of the roof and turn it into a Ridgeline.
Yes, that is a Honda Odyssey, but don’t let its suburban looks fool you, as behind that stripped-out minivan sits a dedicated team of die-hard Honda employees who live for racing.
Can Team HMA prove that anything can be a winning race car at the 2021 Tire Rack Ultimate Track Car Challenge?
What is the Tire Rack Ultimate Track Car Challenge? It’s our annual no-holds-barred track competition. The rules are simple: Car and driver must pass a NASA safety inspection. Period.
Here’s a closer look at this week’s selection:
Team HMA’s 2018 Honda Odyssey kept the engine stock, but they say that the minivan’s other modifications–like beefy six-piston Brembo brakes–give them a unique advantage: excellent traction under braking. Can this Odyssey out-brake the competition?
Michael D’Abreu’s 1988 BMW M3 sports an extra pair of cylinders courtesy an S54 engine swap. Does this combination of big power in a well-handling chassis make a winning formula?
View these cars, along with the rest of the field, on the UTCC website. If you think you have what it takes to win, enter your car here.
The Tire Rack Ultimate Track Car Challenge is presented by Tire Rack in association with Wilwood Engineering, HP Tuners, SPA Technique, XClutch and KW Suspensions, with trophies from BimmerWorld, Falken Tire, Hoosier Tire, and Mach V Motorsports.

Is this different from the one Honda Development made for the track several years back that had an Acura 6-speed manual swap in it?
In reply to irish44j (Forum Supporter) :
Yes. Different generation. They did a really good job covering it's transformation over the years. The first time they ran it on track it was so stock that it still had the stock vacuum in the back. Karl Hertel is a really good guy and loves to talk about the project. I'll send him a message and let him know we're talking about it.
