Just a bump for the evening crew because this was extra cool to put together: So. Many. Rally. Lamps.
Also, there's a photo of Hurley in there, so that makes anything even cooler.

Nelson Ledges Road Course, once famous for hosting the Longest Day of Nelson Ledges—a 24-hour SCCA Showroom Stock endurance race—through the ‘80s, virtually disappeared by the middle of the ‘90s.
And it would have stayed that way, too, were it not for a wide-eyed local, Brian Ross. He purchased the legendary track a few years ago and made it his mission to bring the track back to its former glory.
In the upcoming May issue of Grassroots Motorsports, read about the rise, the fall and the rebirth of the iconic Nelson Ledges Road Course—and its namesake event, the Longest Day of Nelson Ledges.

As someone who spent many years at Nelson watching it slowly deteriorate, it is great to see some good press. I'll say it again THANK YOU Brian Ross!!
Got my first ever SpecMiata win at Nelson in 2006. I also became entangled in one of its infamous tire walls outside of the carousel. I hope to be instructing there in August with the Porsche club. Looking forward to this article. Thanks!
I did a track event when he first bought it. They paved half the track, then next event they paved it in it's entirity, what a difference. I was able to talk to him great guy, thank you for saving it and listening to me about bringing champcar.

Yeah, nice to see the track brought back from the brink. Lotta people we know have run there. It's history.
In the 70's I attended a flagger's school there and ac tually worked a couple of races with Lake Erie Communications and my good friend, Craig Rhine (RIP). Great memories!
