RHD car. Not a popular thing in the states and I think it should have airbags. This car has a non stock steering wheel or maybe it is a euro car and they did not require air bags? The color is interesting. While I like it the classic Porsche red is what I associate with these cars
EDIT it looks like only LHD cars got duel airbags so maybe RHD cars did not get them?
I don't think the wheels are original. I think they should be offset. Or maybe only the MO30 optioned cars got the offset. Humm not sure on that. Those look like a set of old 928 rims. The rear spoiler I think is from a 968 but again it may be offered as a option in Europe. There was a super rare wing for about 15 cars that were made for the British market that I think got that type of wing. These cars also got upgraded suspension and a re mapped ecu. If this is one of these cars then it is worth big $$$$.
Oh and now the cars in my yard are no longer junk they are officially True Classics. Going to tell my wife this.
Wow, I really did buy the right car!

Mediocre performance in a car with expensive parts, and a model that gets little respect among the Porsche disciples.
I'd rather have an E30. Those blatting 944s were usually in my way when I raced my BMW.
So annoyed that Anthony and I did not get the deal done on his s2. Dam covid happened mucking it all up.
These are in my book the best 944 made. Yes a turbo can be made in to a monster of a car but these had so much more under the performance curve making them about the best every day drivers 944.
The 968 tried to blend the 944 and the 928 style wise. I know some like it but I never liked the look of the 968. To me it was trying to please to many people by trying to condense the 944 and the 968 in to a single car. Or in a weird way instead of carrying on with the 944 as a separate brand the 968 became the car for those that could not get in to a 928. I never understood why the 968 happened.
One thaught was the front impact pedestrian regulations may have killed the 944. The more rounded headlights of the 928 and them tipping up from a laid back position instead of the pop up configuration may have allowed it to pass pedestrian impact requirements and as such this necessitated the 944 morphing in to the 968.
Pet me down as a fan of the S2, too.
By the time I was in the market a few years ago, the S2 was out of my reach.
I've owned two. Needless to say, I'm a fan.

I bought Danny Shield's S2 to drive cross country! ThunderCougarFalconGoat picked it up today.
The triple blue S2 cabriolet is one of my favorite cars I've had. Good power, great road handling, classy/classic styling.
