Another Connor O'Sully sighting, this time at the Ponies in the Smokies drift exhibition last night. That's right a BMW with an LS at the Mustang event. People loved the ride-alongs, though.

Sure, this might be a local meet, but how often do you see a Formula Drift ProSpec car, a tricked-out G87 M2, an E92 M3 capable of a 2:05 at VIR, an E46 with 300,000-plus miles, and “Turbo Gary” all in one place?
Well, that’s what happened at a recent Knoxville BMW Enthusiasts meet at the Tennessee location for Milltek.
Connor O’Sullivan competes on the national Formula Drift circuit with an E46 BMW … and it’s powered by an LS engine. When Connor fired it up, it certainly gets your attention.
In contrast, check out this E46 BMW. It still retains its stock drivetrain. The organizer of the event, Grayson Terry, remembers when his father bought the car new. Now under Grayson’s care, it carries 300,000-plus miles.
Milltek’s house car will be this G87 M2, which they intend to motorsport at every given possibility.
Vince Fortea brought an E92 M3 to the party, fresh from turning a 2:05 lap at Virginia International Raceway.
Our audience may be familiar with “Turbo Gary.” Rich DeFrancisco and his European Auto Garage team built it to honor a late employee Mike Love. They intend to drift it, track it and take it wherever they can to bring a smile.
[Love’s love for drift inspired a longtime road racer to try it]
