This attendance is great news for the track and IMSA.
Unfortunately (as far as I can tell) the race will only be available on Peacock. I'll just have to wait until it's posted in a few weeks on the IMSA app or the YouTube channel.
I haven't located an entry list, but I wonder if Crowdstrike CEO George Kurtz will be there in his LMP2 car, or if the cyber issue with the company will have him otherwise occupied.
Update to add that I just received an email from IMSA (is John Doonan spying on me?!?
) and it looks like the race will be shown on tv after the race is over ("encore presentation" is how it's worded), on CNBC at 5 p.m. CST Sunday.
I took the day off to go today. Since I have to leave on Sunday for a work week in Michigan I stayed home to wrap up some projects.
Booooo me.
But....will it be as many as Gridlife last weekend? Lol
Watched the Dark Horse Challenge race earlier today. What a mess. I know they want big fields, and it looks better with a bigger field, but half those drivers couldn't drive down to the Quik-e-mart without wrecking.
In reply to Coniglio Rampante :
Kurtz and the Crowdstrike team aren't listed as having qualified. Too bad, Colin Braun is a stellar driver.
Not a spoiler here in case some haven't watched it yet, but there was a lot of "red mist" on display today.
Is it just me or did the re-broadcast miss the start of the race? It seems to have gone to commercial during formation lap and then came back to them running under yellow.
