Toyota announced today plans to expand its GR Heritage Parts Program by offering a number of new reproduction spare parts for both the third-gen A70 and fourth-gen A80 Supras, starting this July for North America, Japan, Europe and “other overseas countries.”

The reproduction parts will be made available at Toyota dealerships, though the press release notes that these parts will be in limited supply, and only a certain amount of stock will be produced:

Reproduced parts will be limited production with the special cooperation of our suppliers. For this reason, after their production periods have ended, each reproduced part will only be available for purchase for as long as stocks last.”

Parts for the A80 aren't a surprise, but for the A70!?!? That's shocking. The A70 is the redheaded step-child of the Supra family, not as retro-cool as earlier models and not an unattainable hot commodity like the A80.

Maybe there's hope of getting some reproduction parts for my AE92 some day? I know the RHD clutch MC is unobtanium...found out soon after selling a spare one I thought I didn't need sad

In reply to GameboyRMH :

I remembered that there is a request form for what parts the GR Heritage Parts Program should remake, but it looks like it's currently limited to the 2000GT, and the A70 and A80 Supras.

I'd like to think that Toyota would be able to keep expanding this program to include other models, too, as I don't see demand going down anytime soon.

That's pretty cool. Especially stuff like the new emblems.

I've heard some 4th gen parts go for silly money now. $1000 for door panels in good shape, etc

Wish I could buy all new trim for my Prelude from Honda. I'd pay a lot of money.

Good on them for supporting the a70. It might be the red headed step child, but it's still a competent, and good chassis. (A bit heavy, but the power of Jay-Z fixes that).
