If love extreme Subarus (among other wild rides), the Velocity Invitational will deliver. The October 4-6 event at Sonoma Raceway will have Scott Speed and the Subaru WRX: Project Midnight compete in a Global Time Attack class. Travis Pastrana will be doing drift demonstrations with the 1983 Subaru GL known as the Family Huckster.
Also competing in the eight-car Global Time Attack class will be Ryan Tuerck in a Judd 4GV V10-powered Toyota Supra and James Kirkham in a Mercedes-AMG GT3 dubbed “Raw Spec.” Tuerck will also be drifting his 1966 Toyota Stout.
The Velocity Invitational features historic racing among nine groups (including one for NASCAR stock cars), a Group B rally car display, a hillclimb and more.
