Since I'm soon going to be in the market for a new car, I might just have to try ordering a Hyundai this way...you know, for science.
Looking to buy a Hyundai Elantra N? Or perhaps a Hyundai Ioniq 5 N is more your liking. Well, either way, fire up Amazon and simply add one to your cart. That’s right, Hyundai now offers new cars through Amazon Autos.
Amazon Autos is available nationally through 54 markets. It promises clear, transparent, hassle-free pricing. Need financing or an extended warranty? Those are offered, too. Amazon Autos will even facilitate trade-ins. No deliveries offered, though, but you can schedule a time to pick up your new Hyundai from your local dealership.
“At Hyundai, we put the customer at the center of everything we do, and we are always looking for ways to improve the vehicle purchasing experience,” said José Muñoz, President and CEO, Hyundai Motor Company, in a press release. “We’re thrilled to be the first brand enabling our dealers to sell vehicles through Amazon Autos. This collaboration allows customers to conveniently discover, learn about, and purchase their preferred Hyundai model from their local dealer through one of the world’s most trusted shopping experiences. It represents the future of automotive retail and our commitment to redefining how cars are marketed and purchased.”

And the gift card promotion sounds way awesome. I could easily blow through $2300 shopping on Amazon.

It sounds like Amazon is still working out the particulars when it relates to Prime features. So, as of now, no, but maybe more to come?
I checked it out on an Elantra N that was in stock locally, and the dealer had a better price direct. With the much higher interest rates I did not make the switch sadly.

Good info. Amazon Autos isn't available in my area yet. I'm intrigued by the notion of simply adding a car to a cart and checking out. However, I'm one of the few who does like negotiating.

Checked on one in my area and the dealer had the exact same price listed. So at least some of them are on the ball.
