Does your car have a name? Karl does.

Karl is a 2016 Chevy Spark–originally built for commuting but, in this case, prepped more like an early GTI. Karl now wears H&R springs, a homemade rear anti-roll bar, and stickier tires wrapped around König wheels.

Peabody, Karl’s creator, added a larger throttle body via a custom adapter. An open-element K&N air filter caps the intake mods.

Karl is alive and well and bouncing off the rev limiter,” Peabody posted after more than a year of updates on the GRM forum. “Seriously, when nobody’s around, I drive this thing like a 16-year-old who just got his license.”

Been watching this thread for a few years. Love it! These types of cars are my jam. Fuel efficient, fun, affordable. Happy to know of another option.
