As the owner of a 2010 E90 335xi ... I wish you luck.
For the most part, when someone says they are working on restoring a car, a small Britsh sports car or a big American muscle car comes to mind.
That's not the case for user EfiniMotorsport, however, who is in the midst of completing a ground-up restoration on a 2009 BMW 335i xDrive.
This won't be a restoration to bring the car back to stock, however, as EfiniMotorsport plans to "go way overboard on custom stuff." So far, that means adding lightness with some carbon fiber body panels, upgrading the chassis with polyurethane bushings, and bumping up the power with better turbochargers.
So, is a manual, all-wheel-drive BMW from 2009 too new to be considered a restoration project? We'll let you decide–but we dig it.

Yes you can but is it still called a restoration if the car is only 11 years old? There's a ton of custom work going into it to so not really sure where it falls.
