I was pleasantly surprised when I first saw the announcement that Ace was potentially moving to Sanford, because I'm within walking distance of downtown.

A car culture needs a home base, right? For several years, Ace Café served that need for the Orlando metro area. One night they’d host the Jeep crew, the next evening the lot would overflow with Miatas.
And then the motorcycle nights. So many motorcycles.
Mix in food and drink.
Then, a year and half ago, Ace Café Orlando closed.

Then we saw the online posts: It was relocating to nearby Sanford, Florida.
Followed by some silence.
Today, though, a teaser of sorts on Instagram: Construction trucks have arrived. Six of them, in fact.
Hopefully soon our Central Florida car scene will have another place to hang out.

You can. It’s basically across that parking lot from Henry’s Depot.
they're finally moving on that? I can walk to the train. Dt Sanford is right there. I last saw pennywise at ace Orlando.
