How much did those Vorshlag camber/caster plates hurt our M3’s ride? Did we introduce an unacceptable amount of NVH to our German touring car in the quest for the last iota of performance?

[Why did we fit camber plates? | Project E46-chassis BMW M3]

Not at all. No creaks, no clanks, no crashes. As promised, the camber/caster plates are as quiet as the stock upper strut mounts. Vorshlag states that its spherical bearing is the “largest used in any BMW camber plate” and, apparently, that translates into a quiet ride.

The camber/caster plates have truly been a set-it-and-forget-it upgrade.

So, here’s the full review: Easy to install, easy to live with. And when/if you need to change camber, it can be done from under the hood.

You can buy them directly from Vorshlag or dealers like BimmerWorld.
