We always know that the Sawzall is primed and ready to drop those lap times the way God intended: with obscenely large tires and a fully gutted interior.

Pure poetry. We should put it on a poster or a t-shirt or something.

reading this article makes me want to figure out how to put M-caliper brakes on the X1.  but, I reckon that'd probably require upright & hubswapping too.

What flavor of x1?  The e84 version used e9x knuckles that can be swapped to 4 piston brembos.  The f48 chassis is mini based so likely jcw brembos will work

yeah, it's the F48 and mini-based (5x112 instead of 5x120).
