1994 Esprit Pretty stock, and so far, no trouble at all. High mileage (for a Lotus) at 49k. According to Carfax, it was driven, registred and smogged every year. That is one of the reasons I chose it. Good looking in and out, fine running, great shifting, and not leaking. As good as it gets just about for a used Esprit. If I love it, I’ll get an S4S or maybe a late V8.
Love it. I had an S4s for about 6 years. Loved it. Black/tan. Lotus limited slip. Last gen OZ wheels. V8 lower control arms. Reinforced shifter hole (a Lotus change about 30 cars after mine). Chip from some guy in the UK (the Freescan guy). Neal Micklewrite exhaust. It had about 80k miles in it when I sold it in 2007 or so. The guy I sold it to (Zig on the LotusTalk forum) still has it AFAIK.
